Meet Kenneth Bentley Jr.
Faith. Family. Community. Common Sense.
My name is Kenneth Bentley Jr., and I’m running for office because I believe our community deserves leadership that puts people first—not political agendas, not bureaucracy, and not the status quo.
I’m a Christian, a father, and a firm believer that every person has value. That belief guides how I think about education, public safety, taxes, and the role of government. I’m not running to divide neighbors or stir up resentment. I’m running to bring accountability, transparency, and common sense back to public service.
For more than 20 years, this district has been held by one party—often without real competition or meaningful debate. I believe our community deserves a choice, a voice, and a representative who listens.
That’s why I’m stepping forward.
Why I’m Running
Like many parents, I became increasingly concerned as schools and government moved away from their core responsibilities and toward ideological programs that don’t improve outcomes for students or families.
I chose a charter school for my daughter because I wanted her education focused on reading, math, critical thinking, and character, not political or social indoctrination. Parents deserve options, and schools should serve families—not political trends.
Education should unite us around opportunity, not divide us with labels.
My Plan for Our Community
Put Education Back on Track
- Oppose DEI programs in schools and government that prioritize ideology over results
- Redirect funding to reading proficiency, classroom support, and teacher pay
- Support school choice and parental rights in education
- Demand transparency in curriculum and spending decisions
Stand for Faith, Family, and Traditional Values
- Protect the freedom to live out one’s faith without government interference
- Support churches and faith-based organizations that strengthen our communities
- Promote responsibility, respect, and strong moral foundations in public life
Conservative, Responsible Economic Policies
- Keep taxes low so working families, farmers, truck drivers, and small business owners can keep more of what they earn
- Oppose reckless spending and bloated government programs
- Focus on policies that strengthen families—not expand government control
Support Law Enforcement and Public Safety
- Stand with the men and women who protect our communities
- Ensure emergency services and disaster response are properly funded
- Reject rhetoric that undermines law enforcement or public safety
Restore Civility and Reject Political Violence
- Condemn political violence and intimidation from any side
- Defend free speech and the right to disagree without fear
- Call for honest debate instead of insults, threats, or silencing
- Believe that disagreement does not make neighbors enemies
A Campaign About People, Not Politics
I believe most people—regardless of party—want the same things: safe communities, strong schools, fair taxes, and a future for their children.
We don’t move forward by tearing each other down.
We move forward by taking responsibility, telling the truth, and treating one another with dignity.
If you believe:
- Parents should have a real voice in education
- Schools should teach, not indoctrinate
- Faith should be respected, not pushed aside
- Hard-working people deserve better representation
Then I invite you to join this campaign.
You are valuable. Your family matters. And your voice deserves to be heard.
